Blossom

Thank you for proving me wrong

I couldn’t bare the pain off all the flowers I love

Falling before spring

I know it’s lonely

But you must hold on

Be strong as a lone wolf

Even though you could fall

As easy as a blossom

Cherry blossoms are always gone too soon

And I know I put on a brave face

But for. you

It also would have been too soon

For you never even had the chance to fully bloom

So I thank you for proving me wrong

For holding on tight

Even though the limbs that were holding you up

Were starting to rot

Only we can set ourselves free

So hold on tight

As the lone flower surrounded by rotting branches

Hold your petals close to you

So when spring comes again

You can brazenly bask in the suns kisses

And as you bloom

The dark petals and hazy nights

Fall away

Into a somber stream below

Finally washing away

Thank you for not leaving me

Really, I thank you….
