Miss Insanity

Screaming out into nothingness
I sat down and ran to get away
Hiding my face from you every day
I got tired of screaming out into a black hole
Surrounded by darkness and only the surroundings of my mind
Worrying about the eyes of others
Who never showed
This is one time for the last time
Over and over again
Screaming into the darkness.
There, are you happy are you satisfied?
Like that other dream that Uriel came to take away
You should have left as well
But you just sat there staring at me
My shades weren’t dark enough
I wish you had just faded away
But yet here I am screaming in darkness again
And if you were to return you could have at least come correct
You came back with the same sorry attitude and carrying all the things I lacked
So here you are again
Having me scream into the darkness
When I promised myself never again to lift this pen
Because now I have to sign off all my poems as Miss Insanity.
